About Us

Arveni began as an idea, then it changed shape. The starting point was Bengal itself — its craft, its color, its quiet artistry — and a wish to bring that into people's homes. The first version of that idea was a marketplace for Bengali handcrafted goods. But sourcing and quality control belonged to someone else's hands, not mine, and that wasn't the business I wanted to build.

So Arveni became something I could make myself, start to finish: hand-poured soy candles carrying the same Bengali spirit the original idea was built on. Every scent carries a Bengali name and meaning — Snigdho, Jyoti, Aronyok, Soumya, Labanya, Neel — because a candle isn't just fragrance, it's a feeling, and Bengali has words for feelings that English doesn't quite reach. Each jar is made with care, poured in small batches, so what you're lighting isn't mass-produced — it's made.

This is just the beginning of ARVENI.
